Pipkin is one of 114 rabbits that were confiscated. The rabbits were living in deplorable conditions and left without food and water. Pipkin is a survivor! He's a darling Dwarf Mini-Rex. Pipkin is full of life and loves to explore. Pipkin is super curious and very playful. Initially Pipkin was terrified of people. After the ordeal he suffered who wouldn't be? In foster care he has learned that he can trust humans to feed and care for him. He also knows that he will receive lots of petting. He has really come a long way. UPDATE: Look at Pipkin's new fur color!!! Because he was malnourished his fur was a dull brown color. After eating a healthy diet of greens and timothy hay, Pipkin has shed out the old fur. He is now a beautiful Blue/Gray color and has super soft fur. Pipkin likes to run bunny laps around his exercise pen...at 2:00 and 5:00 in the morning!!! Through the tunnel, over a critter castle, in and out through holes in a box and through another tunnel, faster and faster...over and over again. It is amazing to watch how fast he can run. Won't you home up your heart and give Pipkin his forever loving home? He is currently in foster care and available for adoption. Rabbits make wonderful indoor pets. They should NEVER live in a hutch in your backyard, especially in the Sacramento area. The summer heat is too much for them. Plus they'd get very lonely and bored . Rabbits are social creatures that should be part of the family. They are curious and smart and playful. They will bond with other rabbits, people, cats, and even dogs.
