Callie is a young, friendly, beautiful pit mix who is looking for her forever humans! She is very energetic and loves to play go get it and go on walks. Shes learning sit, down, and stay and is eager to learn more. We have her in training lessons so shell be well on her way when her people find her. She has met the resident cat and gets along with her under supervision. So far, things are going well with the resident pug and they get along just fine. The other dog meetings she has had in the care of HT have gone well too. She currently weighs around 40 lbs but is expected to gain a few more. She really loves to be around her foster family whenever possible, in typical pit fashion! Shed make a great dog for an active family who will play with her and take her on adventures such as hiking or camping. Callie is microchipped, vaccinated and spayed. She is heartworm negative. Have a backyard that seems empty without a dog? Got a good throwing arm to play ball with? Willing to toss a squeaky toy and go on walks?
